Samantha in Mani Ratnam's film 'Kadal'!!


The ace director has finally announced his forthcoming venture as Kadal and not Pookadai, as highly speculated before.Director Mani Ratnam’s romantic bilingual in Tamil and Telugu, which happens to be his 23rd film.This Tamil and Telugu movie casts debutant Gautham, son of Karthik in the lead and hot actress Samantha will play his love interest. As we all know Mani Ratnam movies, are loaded with full of surprises for viewers. Kadal marks the come back of handsome actor Aravind Swamy with his mentor.Samantha is having quite a time both in Telugu and Tamil. Her film with Mahesh Babu, Dookudu, broke quite a few records while she has Neethane En Ponvasantham under Gautham Menon coming up for release. Kadal also have action king Arjun, Tollywood actor cum producer Lakshmi Manchu and Thambi Ramaiah in other important roles, beside Aravind Swamy playing father of Samantha. Mani Ratnam flick also have Oscar winner A.R.Rahman playing the music to bring back the magic of Roja and Bombay. Kadal has Rajiv Menon cinematography, editing by A.Sreekar Prasad and will be produced by Mani Ratnam under his Madras Talkies.
